We recommend planning for a full day’s visit to make the most of your experience. Our historical character interactions take place every half hour, so if you miss one, or want to experience it again, you’ll have plenty of opportunities.
You’ll meet seven historical characters, each sharing their story from different periods, starting in 1625 and ending in 2025.
Yes! We have a small café serving hot and cold drinks and snacks. Plus, our Street Stall will be offering delicious street food for purchase. Seating is available.
Car parking is available at Commercial Road or Great Ostry Car Parks. The prison is located less than 400m walking through the historic town of Shepton Mallet.
